San Sael (a.k.a. Misael Sánchez Reséndiz) is a Mexican artist.

Born in Mexico City, San Sael was first sighted in 2019 following the release of his debut single, ‘Margarita Bijou’. Five years later (in 2024), San Sael released his first, entirely self-produced, self-titled album, followed by a second instalment entitled San Sael II: F.E.R.M.I. Pt. 1 (2025). Highly eclectic, San Sael blends electronic sounds and electric guitars to tell stories set on strange, yet familiar, planets in the farthest reaches of outer space. Through fables in which, at times, aliens fall in love with vampires, San Sael takes the tradition of Mexican alternative rock pioneered by bands such as Caifanes, Enjambre, Porter and Zoé to uncharted territory.

Since 2023, he has been living in Paris, France, where he formed the band Les Mirages in 2024, who accompany him on stage. Today, he can be found actively working on new material in some corner of Paris, Mexico City or a distant galaxy.
